I cant fall asleep. Such a vision doesn’t allow me to. (23 Apr 07, 0134hrs)

Just watched finished the Hope Peru church planters’ video. I must say it woke me up from my slumber. Been running too slow, too short a distance. I’m going to take up a new approach in life. Planned out my remaining years of life to include the things I’m going to do for God.
No more growing up, I’m dying down.
I’m left with 60 Years.
So much churchs to plant, so little time.
Make my life count for you God.
“Nothing good can be achieved without sacrifice.”
-Julian, Hope Peru church planter

Go for it world-changer!
church planting flows in our blood,
just that sometimes we lose sight of the bigger picture..
but does God destine everyone of us for church planting?
or is the ultimate goal to influence the world,n church planting is just one of the ways?=)

Thanks very much for the comment. =)
Different churches has different visions. Andy Stanley said in the leadership summit of 2003 at willow creek, “What the world needs is not another new church.” He goes on to explain that if we are to start a new church, the vision of the church must be unique. Our vision must make a unique difference that only we can make. God planted us for that specific purpose. Don’t diversify. Other churches do what they are called to do, we do what we are called to do. There is 101 things to do, if everything is important, nothing is.
Hillsong grows the worship arm of God’s house. I believe Hope church’s vision is in charge of extending the reach of His arm. That’s quite obvious i believe. Hence we are all called to be a church planter. However, just as what our church believes, some are called to be goers, others mobliser or supporters. Each role is impt.
Hence the answer to your question is yes. If God placed you in a Hope church, your destiny is indeed church planting.. We each have a part to play in our church’s church planting vision. What’s left is just figuring out which role it is.
Our ultimate goal is to win the world, either by the indirect influence of the spokes, or the direct methods from the hub. Yet do keep in mind one single important fact. All spokes start from the hub.
hmm was juz wondering..can church planting be something like, doing something in spore society also..like, starting a new thing to help all those lost kids who are going thru media influences that are doing something terribly wrong with their lives..not neccessarily going overseas..
and btw, i saw this phrase on my campus today..i tink u said it to me before - “the danger to our future is apathy”..did u? sounds so familiar..

Hm… that sounds like an activist path. i cant see any connection with it to church planting. perhaps its more of a spoke thing then a church thing?
haha.. its on my “about the author and his blog” page of my wordpress.
[For the main problem of the world is not enthrallment with reality, but apathy with things regarding eternity.]
Not everyone has to be a church planter per se. Ultimately, we don’t want to plant the physical church, but the spiritual church. In that, all of us have a part to play, to bring to gospel to people, to bring God glory and praise. Planting and building comes hand in hand, if no one builds the church, the planters will plant in vain.
In the sense, everyone of us is either a spiritual church planter or builder, directly or indirectly. Whether capital or spoke, we will all contribute to the Kingdom in some way.
