How Eager Are You To Go Heaven?
Before you answer (mentally or verbally)*, take some time to let the question simmer for a while. Fully understand the question, the consequence of question and the consequences of the answer.

Living With A Eternal Perception.
Note: I tend to get oxymoronic replies: “I can’t wait to go heaven, but I don’t wish to die right away.”

You red my mind!
But give you the same answer in another clothing, I answer: “I don’t fear death, because I know that what is coming, is better than this. But I am not in a rush. I can stay here for some years, then go. I hope there is more to this place than just living.”
Did you like this answer?
The principle for any Christian is that Heaven is better than Earth. We all know this in our minds, yet not many of us will choose an early death just to go to heaven. Besides the fact that taking your own life is a sin (which can be counter-argued that you’ll sin much more if you continue living), there are a few reasons why we may not choose an early death:
1) We got too comfortable/distracted living on Earth and forget that we are just stewards and not residents on Earth. (In other words, we lost sight of heaven.)
2) We are uncertain of eternity. (It is a sad truth, but many people who profess to be Christians are unsure whether there is indeed eternity and much less the certainty of whether they will go to heaven or hell.)
3) We are 100% certain we’ll be in heaven with God, but we choose to stay on Earth so as to bring more people into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Which category do you fall in?
We all know what the model answer is but honestly, which category do you fall in?
It is time to evaluate our motives for staying on planet earth.
The model answer above entails that which is radical; to live a life against the path of a materialistic and achievement-based society.
Then again, isn’t that what Jesus preached? He preached things that are radically different from what was commonly perceived during his time of ministry and it took the world by storm.
I too fall short of the model answer.
Now that I know what should be done, I am disappointed within, for I do not do the things which I know I should be doing…
eh.. i guess people wants to go heaven fast, but is afraid of pain. But if i were to die peacefully, i dun mind going now. haha.
hmmm interesting qn.
gave some thoughts to it and frankly, i realise i’ll be much more eager if i hit the rock bottom of my life, which in other words, escapism.
well, it seems like a common phenomenon in this ‘emo-generation’ that in the eyes of many [teenagers], heaven serves as a place of allowing them to escape from reality.
wahh..elise buy me the earphones then die then i dunid collect stock alr isit..dun die so fast until i get my earphones=).haha..
I’ve been seeing this post for days.
Truth be told, I don’t mind dying now.
Even if I have not done many things, still. I dont mind dying.
Thing is, will He want me back yet?
Heyy. I guess all of us can’t wait to go to heaven because it’s a really wonderful place and all. However, we don’t want to die yet because we want to accomplish a zillion things for Him first. Well, just some thoughts.
Shiyou-
That’s the whole point i’m trying to make isn’t it? Either we don’t mean what we say, meaning that we aren’t really that eager to go heaven. Or we are so caught up with accomplishing a zillion things.
Anyway, just an after thought. How many things out of that zillion are actually things that you can bring along to heaven? If there’s only a few things such as salvation and life changes, shuldnt we be focused on making a zillion life changes and salvation instead of doing a zillion different things?
Hmm. Yeah. I meant changes! Haha. But I do agree on the point that we’re just so caught up with accomplishing stuff for ourselves sometimes that we forget our real purpose.
I’m not scared of dying, & I don’t mind dying today.
Because, I know there is eternal life in heaven.
that is a good question but i have to say im in no hurry to die i do beleive theres a god but thats it,i dont beleive in heaven reason is beacause all the time that passed b4 me,even so i just knew i was alive at 5 years old once u close ur eyes for the eternal rest the earth is gonei heard theres a doomsday december/31/2012
I am honostly a true believer in god and heaven, but I also think humans think to much of themselfs and think “I am the almighty creature when I die I cant just die” Humans think there needs to be a place to go after they die, but all the other animals in this world just, die.
And a comment for all the people saying “they are not afraid of death” God puts us in this world and watches us all and attemps to put us on the right track, he wants to see if you are able to make it to heaven. It’s like a test, he wants you to live the full 100 years but if we take advantage of the life he has gifted us then I belive thats when “death” occurs most. I also belive that when they say,”Only the good die young” it’s only because God has chosen those people to be brought into heaven and doesnt want the he/she to move off on the wrong track when he gets older.
