Paradox

Emotional scars are bullshit, cause scars aren’t suppose to hurt. It’s just a never healing open wound.

  1. But don’t scars serve as an reminder? They definitely don’t hurt, but won’t the reminder just trigger your memory and like… let you remember something that once hurt?

  2. I saw a christian book titled, “your scars are beautiful to God”, I almost wanted to buy it!

  3. haha i got the quote! it was a tad confusing at first though.

okay it means the phrase ‘emotional scars’ are nonsensical because it still hurt. and its not smoothed over yet. when you think about it, it hurt. so why not change the phrase to .. emotional scab hahahhha

Haha, that means it still will hurt lah. An open wound can serve as a reminder as well right?

“A crust discharged from and covering a healing wound.”

  6. So profound!

  7. probably emotional wounds don’t heal if you keep picking at the scab, leaving deeper and uglier scars later on in life?
