A Call To Purpose

Do you feel like you have been are living in 40 years of desert? You have been missing goals after goals. You become skeptical of big dreams and cynical over the potential of people. Another big goal has been launched but you can’t see the part you have to play in it. People get discouraged and for some, even leaders fall away.

I had enough of this. I can’t take it anymore.

I am proud to be where I am for a time such as this. Because people need a reason to believe. If the world is waiting for the church, then I believe that the church is waiting for us. They need someone to show them the way. They need an encouragement, a source of inspiration.

I don’t need to see it to believe it.

We might not be leading the church. We might not be leading the youth congregation. But have no doubts, we do lead something.

Etched in my mind, scorched in my heart, scarred on my hands.

Today, I’m giving you the authority to co-lead with us. Let’s bring our people into the promise land.

I am a dreamer, and I have seen the future. A future which God will outdo.

Some of you are going to leave this place with nothing more than a talk. But some others – many more I hope, will leave this place, internalizing what I’ve just said, wondering if its really true.

“Do I really have the authority to lead?”

These people will go back different. They are going to affect meetings even if they aren’t the ones appointed to lead it. People are going to start contributing instead of being lectured to. Leaders, are you prepared for the revolution your mouths have always talked about yet your heart is secretly scared off? DMMs are going to get engaging. Suggestions would be made to their leaders. People are starting to believe that they actually have a part to play in the group’s direction, and their opinions are seriously considered.

Are you in or are you out?

  1. definitely in from down under!

  2. Lead yourself first by being example before leading others… That’s where authority and anointing is released to lead….

“Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers…..” Acts 20:28

Note the order of priority with ourselves being the top. This is regardless of whether one has a title of a leader or not.

In Christ, we are all supposed leaders- ppl who eventually mature to be producer and multiply (fruitful), not just consume or being followers- innovate and value-add with the power of the Holy Spirit.

    Just some random thoughts :)
