I used to grapple over the fact that God is invisible as that concept seems so far and foreign to us. His invisible presence seems to be an oxymoron. Well, I recently came to terms with it. Allow me to simplify it for you.

How do we define presence?

If I were to chop off my hand and place it beside you, you would not consider that to represent my presence just as if I were to give you my glove. For I am not in the hand, nor am I in the glove. Even if my entire body is physically intact and present, I am still not with you; placing my dead body beside does not equate to my presence.

Hence fundamentally, we are not located in an object. We are all invisible.

Our bodies are merely clothes for our soul; our soul is where our presence lies.
